DALLAS — On Monday, a few business colleagues set up camp at 5 a.m. on the sidewalk beside the Knox Street Apple store in order to get their hands on Dallas’ first iPhone 5s, set for release Friday morning.
They're "glamping" -- "glamor camping" -- a trend that Black Book Ink’s founding partner and Chief Strategy Officer Sabrina Dee said has taken storm in New York, where luxurious yurts, safari tents, and even pop-up chalets trended over the summer. Continuing the trend in Dallas, the staff of Black Book Ink, a Dallas-based marketing group emphasizing digital branding and social media, are working remotely while they hang out in front of the Apple store.
Civilization is beginning to collapse. This is proof.
