Verizon and AT&T To Sell LTE iPad

Following Jim Dalrymple's confirmation of the precise date of Apple's iPad event, Spencer E. Ante and Jessica E. Vascallero report for The Wall Street Journal:

Verizon Wireless and AT&T Inc. will sell a version of the coming iPad that runs on their newest fourth-generation wireless networks, according to people familiar with the matter, as the battle to cash in on big investments in mobile broadband heats up.

As for when LTE is unavailable? The next generation iPad will "default to a slower networking technology."

Personally, as someone living in the heart of an LTE area, all I really want to know now is what the battery life is going to be like.
