Despite typical holiday season profit buoyancy, the United States Postal Service has posted a $3.3 billion quarterly loss. Jordan Weissman writes for The Atlantic:
The slow disintegration of the U.S. Postal Service might be the single most embarrassing sign of how dysfunctional our federal government has become.
I may not be the biggest advocate of physical post, but Weissman certainly paints a shameful picture of the handling of the venerable institution.
