Apple Builds iOS Mosaic for Barcelona Store Opening

Safari Mosaic

Commemorating the launch of its latest store in Barcelona, Apple has erected a mosaic around the exterior of the store. Solely comprised of deconstructed iOS apps, the mosaic is certainly an interesting sight to behold.

Beyond the compelling visual appeal, the mosaic serves as a resounding reminder of the importance of the “little things.” Rather than surrounding the store with a typical wooden wall to disguise the construction, Apple has built an aesthetically interesting piece of artwork. While this certainly serves the immediate surroundings in a complementary manner, it also embodies a shrewd element of marketing for the opening of the new store.

For as long as Apple continues to behave in such a fashion, its competition will proceed to only grasp at gaining competitive mindshare in the technological marketplace. Regardless of how compelling competing hardware and software might be, Apple is characterized by a distinct sense of unification and seamlessness across all elements of the company. As such, for even the most insignificant of touches, the company delivers in a truly unique, novel, and affable manner.
