This week Myke and Matt start off the show by discussing user reactions to Facebook home—before going on to discussing why Android may or may not be right for some, Google Now and Home screen/launcher replacements.
One of the most important topics — one I've been hesitant to touch on during Bionic — came up organically today. Specifically, Myke and I touched on the increasing animosity between Apple and Google enthusiasts.
For whatever reason, people have become increasingly polarized, aggressive, and blinded to rational thought lately. Whether it's the notion that Apple is falling behind or the attitude that Google might be catching up, there's a consistent and baffling aggression between both camps.
One that I believe is fundamentally unnecessary.
Anyway, on today's show, touching on Myke's newfound feeling of responsibility and accountability now that he's switched to Android, the topic came up. It's one — as you can probably tell — I feel rather passionate (and disappointed) about. And I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts and reactions on the matter.
