More on Apple's Record-Shattering Q1: Charts, Google, and General Thoughts

Federico Viticci and his team at MacStories have put together some phenomenal graphs representing Apple's unbelievable Q1 results.

The most obvious conclusion? This is easily Apple's best quarter ever.

Of further note, Apple's results have exceeded those of its competitor, Google, by over $3 billion.

With regard to the iPhone's 128 percent growth, Matt Richman had this to say (via John Gruber):

In 2009, Apple sold more iPhones than it did in 2007 and 2008 combined. In 2010, Apple sold more iPhones than it did in 2007, 2008, and 2009 combined. Last year, Apple sold 93.1 million iPhones, slightly more than it did in in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 combined. The pattern continued.

Richman goes onto conclude that Apple is likely to have sold more iPhones than all Android devices combined.

All in all, Apple now boasts $100 billion in cash. That really says it all.
